End the Massacre in Gaza!

As the death toll in Gaza approaches and threatens to surpass the 1,400 killed in Israel’s “Cast Lead” assault on Gaza in 2008–09, there have been large demonstrations all over the United States and throughout the world.
We, in this country, have to counter the massive propaganda machine working in the service of Washington and Israel’s Zionist narrative—“self-defense,” “Hamas terrorists,” “tunnels,” “rockets,” “human shields”—and never the truth about the occupation, the unrelenting siege, and the genocide waged against the Palestinian people. The media portrays the struggle as one led by the unreasonable Hamas leaders who refuse to agree to a ceasefire that would save Gazan lives, when the truth is that Hamas will not agree to a return to the status quo which makes life impossible in Gaza, an open-air prison colony.
The primary role of the United States is conveniently dropped from the narrative. It is crucial that those who stand with the heroic Palestinians get this message out: Without full U.S. financial, political, diplomatic, and military backing, Israel could not carry out its campaign of terror, ethnic cleansing, and land theft. Exposing this is our mission and responsibility.
UNAC supports all protests against the U.S./Israeli genocidal war. We need to be in the streets and stay in the streets until the killing ends and Gaza is free.
- Stop Israel’s bombing and killing
- Stop the occupation and siege of Gaza
- End all U.S. aid to Israel – financial, military, political, diplomatic
- Support the Palestinian call for Boycotts, Divestments, and Sanctions
